Volumetric efficiency ηv It can be calculated by the following formula
Where Qa [m3/h] is the theoretical flow of the pump and Q [m3/h] is the actual flow of the pump.
The flow of the pump at 0 pressure can be considered as the theoretical flow (because there is no return flow).
Pump efficiency ηp It can be calculated by the following formula
Where N1 [kw] is the output power of the pump and N2 [kw] is the input power of the pump
System efficiency η It can be calculated by the following formula
Where N1 [kw] is the output power of the pump and N [kw] is the motor power
System efficiency is related to motor efficiency, reducer efficiency and pump efficiency.
